Throttle Bods: After going through Audis and VWs for the largest TB, I

Mike and those interested,
For those that have seen the Intake Plenum on my tt motor, you will remember
the cold start valve was right near the throttle body.
Reason you ask????
I used a VW fox intake plenum.
Again you ask why???
1.    Throttle body opening did not need to be ported for the Neuspeed/5K
TB, matched up perfectly.
2.    Intake chamber looks visibly larger (have not measured)
3.    With the webbing cut out and runners smoothed (took forever to do),
not as much heat soak of the intake runners.
(also makes it easier to see my header:-) )
4.    Just plain looks cool :-)
5.    Cannot verify, but I've heard the runners are longer than the 81
Scirocco's plenum.

Just thought I'd throw that in.
I can send pic's of the setup for those interested.

hehe... I did that same thing a couple years ago on my Rabbit. After the
groove that was worn into my drip rail though, I think it would be a good
idea to move the cold start valve.
