RE: Tech:audio:Where's my accessory power input?

Thanks to everyone who posted on this subject!

I'm a bit more comfortable using a switch source for the CD unit but I sometime listen to music while parked and  even though I don't have points I don't want to needlessly pressurize the fuel pump/system with the key "on" and the engine not turning. Right now I'm leaning to a direct power connection using a 10 g wire with in-line fuse directly to the battery. I just have to make sure my 7 year old son remembers to turn it off after he's done playing with daddy's car.....yeah right!
