There is no "Accessory" circuit in our cars, but there is a way to get a
switched power circuit.  What I did was tap into one of the switched circuits
coming out of the ignition switch.  On the '78 that would be the BR/R wire
going to the safety belt warning relay or the BK/Y wire going to the load
reduction relay and the light switch.  There is another wire, BK, coming off
the switch but that feeds just about everything else in the car, so you
probably don't want to put another load on that circuit.  If it's a high
power application, I would just use the BR/R or BK/Y as a signal circuit to
acitivate a relay to power your CD.
Check your Bentley, the ignition switch is device "D" on the schematic.
