RE: Tech:audio:Where's my accessory power input?

Best thing to do is avoid the fuse box. Run a wire direct to the battery
with an inline fuse. Keep the fuse about 6-12" from the terminal on the
battery but well before the firewall. This will reduce alternator whine and
spikes from the ignition.
The heavier the wire the better. I used 12Ga for both the positive & the
ground.

Subject: Tech:audio:Where's my accessory power input?

I'm installing a CD into my MK1 and can't find the "switchable" acc power
input wire. It may have been removed, so I wonder where on the back of the
fusebox can I tap-in?

TIA! And have a great New Year!
