I agree with this. It is awful nice of Brett to put
the time and money into all this. In the near future I
plan to join Ben Rogowski's VW club, and I don't have
a problem with paying some money for this list.

This kind of stuff can be real time consuming and
expensive. I know about the first since I have done
webpages for other people on a freelance basis. I know
about the last since I ship lots of network machinery
overseas and get to see the invoices.  What Brett is
doing is even more complex. This is somthing that is
never done because it keeps growing all the time. 

A quicker search engine, as Brett suggested, would
also be nice. This might serve to cut down on the
posting of topics that have already been discussed in
great detail. Not that I am complaining, or casting
blame on anyone else for doing this. I realize I am
guilty of this as well. In the current state of
affairs, it is much easier to just post a question
than to go back and look up the same topic in the archives.
