RE: Scirocco.org a club?

Title: RE: Scirocco.org a club?

It is already happening up here on the west coast of Canada.  The price for a Scirocco that is in decent shape has been climbing over the last 3 years.  Mk1's are especially pricey now.

Picked up my first mk1 for under $500 Canadian - yes that's about $10 us ;).  That was about 6 years ago.  Saw a similar one in the paper today for $1800.  (I had to call) and it has the typical front end rot (all along the front fenders where they meet the hood), so it needs some welding for sure.

Moral of the story is Never get rid of your Scirocco, it will be worth something big in another decade :)

>(hell it may even increase the demand for our cars).

Not that this is a bad thing, but by the law of supply and demand, wouldn't
increasing the demand for sciroccos also increase the price of parts and the
cars themselves since they're not being produced anymore? I'm pretty sure
that's what we learned in school.
