Yep, that's affirmative. '82 was actually the model year they started the 4 to 1 manifold. The 1.7 would've probably been a much better stock engine if they had kept the dual on. Good thing most parts are interchangeable :-) including an earlier dual outlet man. onto my engine I've recently learned (thanks Scott)

Are you sure you have the single down? '82 was the cut-off year for the dual
down.
