Alternators for 8v and Fan Question

Alright, could anyone tell me what amperage the alternator in a 85 rocco shoudl
have under the hood.? (currently has a 65A but continue reading on...)

The car works fine, the battery seems to charge properly, but on idle, if I
turn my heater fan switch to "4"(max"), the car seems to strain on idling (not
gaz wise but electrical wize) the idle runs normally at ~900 RPM, and it drops
about ~150 RPM whe I turn the fan to the max, anyone have any thoughs on the
subject?

I narrowed it down to two things.. the blower in my dash is about to die, or my
alternator is dying. but as usually I have been known to be completly wrong so
here I await comments.
