Re: rear transmission studs stripped

I would except there is not enough metal to repair the threads.  I could tap
it to the next size smaller but I fear that would be to weak.  My mechanic
helped me by putting 10mm exhaust nuts which have a little more surface area
plus he drilled and taped a hole between both the exsisting.  I not sure how
long this will hold.
