RE: Arsonist strikes '81 FSP car -The Phoenix-

I'll be over there too on Sat to survey the damages but there is no need to
"rush" to get the car ready for the Race. A fellow racer we all know has
offered to let us run his ready to go FSP A2 Golf(it's not a rocco
but....)Mr. Randy Walters himself(some may know him from the VWAuto-x
group/newsgroups) So at least we can stay in the points game(since I'm 17
points out of 1st & Doug is about 25 or so behind me.)

It sucks bad that this happened but even if it's not worth fixing(burned
cars are "NEVER" the same) we will find another & transfer the go fast parts
in no time.

Keep your eyes out for a straight MK1...just in case.

Im going up to Doug's place (Huntington Beach, CA) saturday to try and
help get it rebuilt in time for the autox at HP sunday. He's still in the
points and it would suck for him to loose out because some fuck had a
match and a gallon of flamable fluid.

Anyone wanting to come help out (parts - labor?) e-mail me privately.
