I realize Haynes manuals ain't exactly the greatest thing for VW manuals,
but Haynes also puts out other manuals for brakes, fuel injection, and body
work too. They call them Techbooks. The one I've got is pretty good, but
doesn't go as deeply into details as my old bodyshop course textbook did. If
you've got a used book store in your area, go spend some time digging
around, see what you find, plus, old book stores are a good way to kill a
rainy afternoon.
