the wires were definitely cut but I couldn't find were the were running I
suspect under the rug

so I to the advice of several of you and ran new cable, and all is good.

I installed a stereo yesterday but the rear speakers don't work.

It had still had the OE speakers in the back and I had a pair of jensons
still in the box so I installed them although I doubted it would fix the
problem. and you guessed it, they didn't. so I guess I have severed speaker
cables. 

does anyone know the path of the wires from the back of the stereo to the
trunk area?

any Ideas of were to check for cuts first?
