RE: [TECH] Rear Axle Bushings

Guess what, I ordered the poly bushings...DOH! I have a H-Frame Hydraulic
press, so I am hoping it won't be too difficult. The whole axle is out of
the 87 16v. Since I have it out, I am replacing the bushings before putting
into the 81. I just wasn't sure if I should spend my time trying to salvage
the bolt (stud-sorry for the misinterpretation).

poly bushing don't but regular ones from Vw dealership do. (grin)
I am lazy and I dont race my car... I opted for the easy solution...
check the web site in my tag line... look up the procedur under tech notes.
you can see them there.!
