Re: a quart of por15 enough?



I POR's my Vanagon, and I think a quart is enough, especially if you spray
it as I did with a HVLP gun.

Here's the thing though - spray light coats - it runs really easily, and is
hard to sand when it's dry.

So best to avoid runs if you can.

Also, POR doesn't get rid of rust - it just seals the metal. I am not so
sure POR is the magical technology they claim, either.

Don't buy their rust-converter - it's WAY overpriced and is the same as all
the rest. Don't buy their TIe-coat primer, use a normal high-fill 2-part
primer and get used to sanding.
