I just dropped the front and rear seats to my convertible off at a 
local auto upholsterer's.  They look just like a set of Mk 1 "S" 
seats with the black-and-red trim (search the 'net, you'll find 'em 
somewhere...).

The estimated cost to redo the cloth faces of the four pieces is 
between $700-$800.


Aftermarket front seats I looked at run between $400-$900 depending 
on fabric and manufacturer, per seat.

I really wanted a multi-color scheme, so I went with the recovering, 
especially since I would still have to figure something to do with 
the back seat.
