underneath all that, the floor pan is the same. The only thing I question is 
if the seat rails are the same. I think so, though. But, the Rabbit, 
Scirocco, and Jetta 1 all share the same chassis....known as the A1 Chassis. 
The Rabbit convertible does too,...but to a lesser extent with all the 
reinforcement and whatnot. I would seriously ask a paint and bodywork guy who 
has experience in this before buying the panels though.
