Re: Alignment specs with a Quaife?

>>"What kind of power does your car with the Quaife put out Ian?"

Well, I can jump in on this because I have been driving the car.
Ian and I put the JH motor in the MK1. The motor is a FSP spec motor.
The power is unknown at this time. We have seen other cars with
the same set up pull 130 at the crank. I hope that this car will pull
that well. Just look up the rules for FSP and you will see what we did.
Now as far as bars go this car is built. The big 25 and 28mm bars are on it.
The shocks and springs are full race. It has H&R liner rate road race
springs and Koni adjustable shocks. I am still breaking in the motor
so I can't say if it will dart. BTW we added power steering too.
The car holds the road good now but I have not pushed it yet.
The car has AVS 185 60 14s on the street. I would not run
on a all season tire that was not as good as an AVS Intermediate.
We will test the motor soon and then I can report power specs.
I will say that the 16v is wishing it could run as fast as the MK1
8v now.
