I plan to start autocrossing at the start of the season next year.  My car
is a 81 scirocco.  Originally I was planning on running in the showroom
stock class, but it didn't allow the modifications I wanted to make.  So
now I'm planning to run street prepared. I just got the car a month ago so
I've spent my time trying to get it running good, and fixing the various
problems. Here's all the stuff I hope to have done by the time the season
starts:
new shocks (probably Bilstein sports)
new suspension bushings
Techtonics Exhaust
better exhaust manifold (havn't decided which)
springs (H&R or Neuspeed sports)
K&N air filter (already done)
Bosch Triple Electrode plugs (already done)
high performance plug wires
new tires (I have three different brands on my car now)
vented brake rotors
better brake pads
stress bars all around
sway bars from another VW (junkyard part)
bigger wheels (probably not this year)
Techtonics front engine mount (already done)
Sythetic Oil
redline trans oil
watter wetter


I havn't added up how much this is going to cost, and i don't really want
to.
