Re: Air/Fuel guage




I actually installed one of these in my roc when the BAE turbo
was still on there.
The autometer guage works pretty well.
I just tapped into the existing O2 wire, and everything seems to 
be ok.  The only piece of advice I would give you is to ONLY use
the silver wire that came with the guage.  I tried to extend the connection
with regular copper wire, and the motor wouldn't hold an idle when the
guage was connected.  After speaking to autometer about this, they
said the o2 brain was very sensitive to inputs, and that the copper 
wire would throw everything off.  Switched back to the silver wire, and
everything worked fine....
