Re: compression test results

here's how i performed the compression test:
1) sterted the car and let run for approximately 10 minutes
2) pulled all 4 wires and plugs
3) diconnected intake air boot
4) diconnected coil and grounded it to engine block
5) secured throttle in wide open position
6) carried out compression test

I got no white puff of smoke during start up or on the throttle opening...there is also no white smoke in the exhaust when the car is running...i'm also pretty sure i don't have an exhaust problem cause i checked all over and even gutted the cat to make sure it wasn't clogged...i'm leaning toward the head gasket now...

Not that I'm saying you did anything wrong, but exactly how did you
perform your compression test? Hot or cold? Tbody open? Coil
disconnected and grounded? Wet cylinders or dry? Any oil in your
coolent tank? White puff of smoke during start up or on throttle opening?
