Todd,

the rotomaster turbo from the callaway kit is about $300
to have rebuilt by a shop like Turbonetics.  At that point,
you may want to consider going to a watercooled turbo for
longer life.
You don't need special pistons unless you are planning
inordinate amounts of boost.  If you are putting this on a stock
JH with 8.5 to 1 compression, you won't even need to lower the
compression.
