Non-Roc, Cabby Question

A guy at work says he can't change the plugs on his sister's '95 Cabby 'cuz the
intake manifold is in his way.  He asks me if I know how to do this.  The car is
100 miles away, so I can't look at it.

Problem 1)  I've never seen under the hood of a Cabby (except Jim's).
Problem 2)  This guy knows nothing about cars, so he could be calling the
manifold the wrong name.

Why can't he get to the plugs?  What's in his way?  What is he talking
about??!!?
