I have a problem here too.. when I had my car painted, I replaced all the
wiper arms.  The driver side one, which LOOKS proper (wing etc), is a hair
too big at the base, and actually contacts the edge of the hood when opened.
I wasn't sure what was causing it till I looked at another wiper side-by-side
and noticed the slight difference.  Part number was correct, but.. someday
I gots to do something about it.
