hey

as far as the rattle is concerned....it can be about 8 zillion things..first 
thing id check is the rear trans mount, if it is motorsport then your car 
will be a noisy little turd(like mine)..second, i'd try pulling  the cluster 
and driving around without it in the car.  just make sure every screw is 
tight and add some if it still rattles when putting it back in....you may 
want to replace the cable too.  i think greg davis probably has the best hook 
up on three gauge panels....or find an audi 4k.  also grab a large steaknife  
and stop smoking cause it's time to kiss that stuff good bye on that area.
