Re: Alternators- Anyone rebuilt them, themselves(especially bearings)



I rebuilt mine a while ago. The bearing I used was a pilot bearing for some 
unknown japanese car. I did have to spend 1.25$ at the local rebuild shop 
for a nylon bushing that goes between the rear bearing and the case.
