Check to see if the cable is kinked anywhere or is making some sharp turns. Plus, the cable should have been lubed before installation. Did you do it yourself, or did you have a shop do it? Either way, lube it or make sure it was lubed. HTH!!

After replacing the clutch and changing the auto-adjust cable to a manual cable, the pedal feels like crap. Its very stiff and feels numb. Where should I start to look for trouble?
