But this is a toy now isnt it.   I heard 300hp is possible from the 1.8T after
all is said and done.

If 200 hp from a 1.8T and chip makes the frame a pretzle-  then 200 hp from a
2.0 16V conv. will do the same- no?

I also have the option of taking my 80 frame, and starting to build the car
from the ground up- using my 81 S for all the parts.  Doing this will be a huge
task, but I would be able to reinforce the frame, and would have a hell of a
custom when finished.  Not to mention a nice long project to do.

Thanks for the info.   again i am only in the consideration stages. My goal is
to achieve maximum HP and maintain daily driveability.
