There is also the consideration that if you happen to be on the digest, non 
plain-text mails make it almost unreadable and increase it's size 
considerably.  I stopped subscribing to the digest for this very reason. 
Yet, if you look on lists like the quattro list, the digest is pretty clean. 
  I'd reckon we should be following their example.
Only my opinion, of course!
