Re: Attn: Mark Mages

Wow - my first "Attn Mark Mages" in 2 years on the
list!

hehe - actually, I didn't know anyone actually ever
looked at my site, so I never put it up there!

I used Dupli-color semi-flat (NOT Gloss) black
vinyl/fabric spray. It took 2 full cans ($4ea) to get
it like that. 3 cans wouldn't hurt.

What I did -
spray a coat.
Vacuum thoroughly to get rid of the excess (kinda like
those clumpy eyeliner commercials) and keep the fabric
from stiffening
Spray another coat.
Repeat til it looks good.

The most difficult part is spreading the fabric to get
in the cracks real good. The whole process took
~1&1/2 hours. It changes the shade of the vinyl a
little, but I actually thought it looked better than
the dark greyish color mine was.
