CINCY: YOUR HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT

Hey all,
	Like I said, I won't be in Cincy until Saturday.

	But since I was originally SUPPOSED to be there on time, I had a project 
in mind that I thought all of you would enjoy-- and since Daun and I are 
renowned for coming up with cool ideas, this year should be no exception. :)

	I'll state this simply.  I have a G-Tech.  I'm leaving it with Daun before 
I go to Krautland.

	Here's the deal:

	I thought it would be a wonderful resource to have comparative skidpad 
lateral-g grip measurements from a whole bunch of different cars.  This 
way, if we get the lateral acceleration of say, 30 cars, on a similar 
surface, we can do direct tire/wheel and suspension comparisons.

	Wouldn't it be great if we had a list like:

H&R Springs / Koni Shocks
Ben Harder		195/55-14 - Dunlop D40M2 - 		0.84g
Jason Cammisa	195/50-15 - Potenza RE71 - 		0.94g
Brett V.S.		205/45-16 - Dunlop SP8000		0.91g

Stock Suspension
Daun Yeagley	195/50-15 - AVS Intermediate		0.83g

	
	So, here's the deal.  When you get to Cincy, make sure you've got air in 
your tires, and Daun will help find a place where you can each go 
(INDIVIDUALLY, as to not get arrested), and do a couple circles.  When 
you're done, Daun will have a sheet where you'll be able to record your car 
with the following info:

	-Springs
	-Shocks
	-Stress Bars
	-Sway bars
	-Wheel Size, Type, and Offset
	-Tire Size and Brand
	-Tire Pressures F/R.

	We can all compile the info together and maybe even submit it to 
tirerack.com to get them to KISS OUR ASSES cause we're the *shit*. :)

	Oh, and of course, those of you <cough> MAD BASTARD <cough> who are 
obsessed with 1/4 mile times are more than welcome to use the GTech for 
that purpose.

	I will say one thing, however:  If anything should *happen* to the GTech 
(i.e. it disappears or gets confiscated by cops, etc) I think it's only 
fair that it be replaced asap.  I thank you in advance for not leaving with 
it. :)

	That's all.  I'll be in Germany next week but *will* have email, so don't 
say anything mean about me. :)
