ND roadtrip prep, and Murphy's Law.

Everything has gone too smoothly for my roadtrip preparations.  I knew this, and
someone told Murphy, so my fuel pump decided to start dying today.  Luckily, I
have a friend bringing a new one over to work for me, so I can install it Sunday
afternoon before work.  Argh. :-)

Any hints or tips on removing/installing the fuel pump on a '87 8v Scirocco?
It's externally mounted, so I hope it won't be too difficult, but I thought I'd
ask for advice and wisdom first. :-)
