The inner race should be well coated before inserting & fitting the rubber 
cover. You should then put a fair amount into the cavity between front & 
rear races but not packed solid. If you are using one of these tubs of 
grease with the plastic disc on the top of the grease and a hole in the 
middle, 2 or 3 1" blobs would be about right I'd guess  The outer race 
should be well packed before inserting and then fill the cap maybe 1/3 to 
1/2 full.
