Canada this summer?

Anybody have the least bit of inclination to visit Canada (west coast
for me) later in the summer time?

I've been as far north as Portland, OR before (16v Toyota rent-a-car, 90
mph average from SF the whole way!)

I wouldn't mind popping up for a day of two, see the sights and
landscape and coincide with some VW event is possible.

an aside- Funny how the ND show has a feeling of opening the 'season'
like a catilion (sp) or something. After ND we get to wear white shoes
until the autumn rolls around.  :P
