Well, the 1.6 isn't really too bad.  I had a '79 for
awhile, and while it wasn't the quickest car off the line,
it would move pretty good.  I currently have a 1.8 RD in my
'80 which makes for a pretty quick machine.  When an Audi
2.0 block becomes available though...  hehehe.  And yes,
it's simpler to work on than the 16v.
