project finally begins!

Well I've been fiddle-farting around for almost 2 years with the idea
of getting my car painted and *completely* cleaned up.. I finally got
the ball rolling today.  Good thing 'cause it's gonna take 4-6 weeks
and I gots to be ready for ND... you guys had better look out 'cause
she's gonna be one clean mutha humpa by showtime!

I am replacing virtually EVERYTHING external on the car.  As such I
will have the following parts for sale as soon as they're off.. I'm
estimating this will be in the next 1-3 weeks:

- euro lights (good condition but small crack in one driving light lens,
brand new adjusters just installed by Potterman) $250

- euro bumpers (good condition, claimed already by "Bay Area" Jonas)

- 16v taillights, good condition, except the black stripes are TOTALLY
worn off, effectively converting them to 8v lights  ;D  ($100)

- euro amber front corners, good condition  ($50 alone, $40 if you
buy them with the euro headlights)

- wiper arms (all 3), fair-good condition ($10)

- Fuba, fair-good condition, $15

..and probably some other small stuff I'm forgetting.

If you're interested in any of the above (other than the bumpers), 
please email me OFFLINE.  I will save a name or two as backups
in case first purchaser doesn't come through.  Again timeframe is
a little indefinite at the moment, but it won't be long.

Non-rocco content: came back from lunch today, there's a new Audi TT
ROADSTER in our parking lot, manufacturer plates, with a Road&Track
hat thrown onto the console.  Methinks one of the R&T editors is
in the building - I'm minutes away from their California offices.. :D
