I talked to the guy at Waterfest a couple of years ago, and it's not
an easy job at all.  Not to mention the fact that the front one
isn't really quite long enough on the sides to get back to the wheel
arch.  For a big bumper conversion done 'right', take a look at Seidl
Tuning (link on scirocco.org).  There have been a couple of people who've
attempted an Audi 4000 type front bumper conversion...Pete Walsh was
one of them...good luck.
