Maybe its just me..... (and please excuse me if there are 50 replies to this 
that I havent' read yet cause I'm 2 days late on reading digests) but 1. the 
16V tranny isn't the "one" i'm looking for because I want my car to be faster 
and 2. How does this guy know the syncros are in good shape?  Did he take the 
tranny apart?  And if so, why didn't he replace them while he was in there?   
 IMHO.... this isn't a tranny I'd be looking to purchase.
