Re: Bad Sounds (continuation)



If you found a rip in your CV boot and it's been like that for a while
then your CV joint is probably toasted and thus causing your noise. You
need to get a new boot, and CV joint and repack with new grease. If you
would have caught the rip when it first happened you could have probably
saved the joint by changing the boot then, but you didn't so.... HTH.
