Neuspeed Strut tie bar

I just received mine yesterday and installed it today.
After returning from an around the block spin I
checked under the hood and noticed there was
apparently no clearance on a small quarter inch
section on the passenger side between the bar and
underside of the hood. I was a little pissed to see
the rub that had already gone down through the
paint(even though I only drove the car 1/4 mile). My
fix for this not to continue was to take a hammer to
the offending section of hood, you can't even tell it
was hit with a hammer since I put a piece of duct tape
over the spot I hit.

Has this happened to anybody else? Or am I the only
one? If this is a common thing then I would think
Neuspeed needs to drop the hight just a tad.
