  remove the cap. i know it sounds daunting, but that's how you get to
it. use a small rubber hammer and a screwdriver (don't puncture the damn
thing), tap around the edges, and the cap'll pop off. remove the little
black piece on the clutch arm and the release bearing should be easy to
get back on. replace everything and tap the lip of the cap back down
when you're finished. did it last night and it took all of ten minutes.
