RE: Anything going on in New york area in Sept.

Whoa! Guys! NYC is a very nice place to be, indeed! Just go out on the streets on any day and point out the tourists. They're *everywhere*. If it is so bad then why do so many visit or stay? NYC is world reknowned for being the "city that never sleeps". There is so much art, fashion, finance, culture, diversity, and other good stuff here that it makes the rest of the country seem backward. But, that is as ridiculous an opinion as calling here the "asshole of NY".

Take pot shots at NYC all you want, but the fact is that this place *matters*.

Scirocco content: I lost out bidding for the auxillary gas tank on e-Bay. I really wanted it because I was going to run race gas in it. I planned to rig a solenoid actuated valve that would switch to either tank. However, the guy that I was competing with must have set an astronomically high max bid. I drove the price up from $40 to $152 in *ten* minutes. I'm not sure whether to be pissed or delighted that I screwed the bastard. :^)

How *dare* he stand between me and my speed parts??? Heh...
