    hey jim, we sandblasted most of the stuff  in my engine bay and boiled
everything else in a big container with a some kind of pine cleaner in it.
small-time hot-tanking is what it's all about, baby!

    anyways, when we painted everything up, we used tremclad.  i think that
it might've been tremclad rust paint, but i don't recall for sure.

    worked for me.
