RE: Turbo Scirocco Web Site [was: RE: Thanks]

I'm sorry, Roland. I had no intension of insulting you by implying that I
had missed/ignored your past posts. Yes, I do have a couple of your posts,
though I admit I have probably missed some. I have also visited your site,
and would certainly include a link to it in the collection. This is, after
all, my objective!

My goal is simply to compile anything/everything into one, coherent piece of
work where everyone could go, without requiring everyone interested to try
to maintain such an archive themselves. I was even planning on going through
the scirocco.org archive for things I may have missed in the past.

Another advantage of this method is to provide multiple perspectives and
collate knowledge. I happen to feel that it is actually a good thing to have
two people say the same thing in two different ways. It tends to clear any
confustion and reinforce the trustworthiness of the source. I'm not implying
that anyone would intensionally provide misleading information, but you know
what I mean, right?

Finally, I was not asking anyone to spend more time than they care to. It is
a totally voluntary disclosure of information. I just thought that if anyone
had any old email messages or pictures from previous discussions, they could
easily forward them to me and add them to the collection. For instance, if
Brian H. or yourself happened to save the messages you sent back-and-forth
to each other, the rest of us might learn something from them. This is,
again, only if you wish/desire to share the info.

Again, if you feel that I have have insulted you, I am truly sorry. Please
do not feel obligated to respond to my request in a negative manner. I am
really quite easy to ignore, if you so wish...
