RE: Physics of having a front swaybar or not

I ran with out a front sway bar no my Scirroco, and I ran with a big one
also. It comes down to driver preference - ultimately.

If you are a great drive you can take a tub and make it handle better than
the average driver with all the tricks in the world. I have an Astro van I
can dust the average man going through the turns with it. I have even
knocked an M3 down the post with the Astro. It is how you drive, not what
you drive that matters! Once you like what you drive, you get used to that
setup. I personally like a Scirocco with out a front bar, it turns in
better and feels more balanced to me. I did not like it with the front bar,
but that is jut me.

Each person has to figure out what combination works best for them, there is
no who is right or wrong.

This is why I run a 914 most of the time at the auto-x.

OK I'm out of my league here but let's think about the forces involved...

It seems swaybars would be more of an advantage for people running with wide

tires or tires with good grip.

Would having only a rear sway bar mean that when making turns the weight of
the car moves more towards the front right or left wheel, improving
traction?

How would not having swaybars affect the chamber angle? Wouldn't it be
effectively changing everytime you make a hard turn?

Please correct me if I'm speaking rubish.
