Cory,

What brand filter did ya get? Get the Bosch. I had
this trouble a while back. Some (most/all) of the
filters I got from Pep Boys type stores had an indent
where the washer sits. Thus you can tighten all you
want but it will not seal. Compare the old filter to
the new and make sure it is the same.
