Daun.
I have had to do this in the pick-a-wreck from time to time and the way that
has always worked for me involves a BFH and a throw away socket.
Find a socket, preferably not a snap-on :), that is just slightly smaller
than the locknut and hammer it on (this has the added benefit of breaking
the threads loose also). Once on, remove as normal and throw away the
socket/bolt. A decent 12pt usually works best. Unless you've got a welding
setup 8).
