Tire Rack sells 195/55-14 for $68 (Bridgestone RE-71) and $70 (Dunlop SP
Sport 8000).  I have the older Dunlop D40-M2's in that size on 14 X 6.5
inch BBS rims from a BMW 325is and I love 'em!

I'm running the SP8000s from Tire Rack and have been very impressed.
They've been pretty durable, good in the occasional wet, and handle well
without screwing up the ride qualities.
