Wow! That a long thread!

I have only driven 8V street Sciroccos.

My experience is as follows:

Champion (forget it)
Bosch Platinum (all hype)
Bosch Super (this is what I've used for better than 20
years)
Bosch triple prong Super (pricey, but seem effective -
I like them).
NGK (very good, but not as good as the Bosch Super -
note: last time I tried NGK was about 1980).
