Sorry to hear it but its a midwest thing. 99% of all Scirocco I have seen in 
the midwest have be beat to shit. The midwest weather is particularly hard on 
VWs, ask any on the NW owners who have had spend hours trying to remove bolts 
from my 16V hehe. Good luck in you search but I were you I would look farther 
away and look into shipping or a road trip.....
