1.8 vs. 2.0 heads

    I'd like to do the 2.0 conversion in the future, and I was told that
I should keep my 1.8 head because its better. My questions are as
follows, what exactly is better about it and  is it still worth keeping
a 1.8 head with 230km on it vs. a 2.0 with 80km ( or should I find a 1.8
head with 80km??).
